Wow!!  Each National Park I visit “one-ups” the last. Badlands, Glacier, and now Bryce to finish the week.    Definitely didn’t disappoint.   Expansive vistas, great trails, and helpful staff.

The shuttle bus is THE way to travel in order to have a stress free visit.   Parking is limited at the popular vistas/look out points and longer distance hikers may not rotate out of spots to quickly.

I arrived at about 3pm and still had plenty of time to make my way from point to point for great views and some awesome pics.  Walked the Rim Trail 2x.  Different view with each change of the light.

Gets busy at sunset with those seeking last minute pics.   30 minutes after dark it was a convoy departing.  30-45 minutes later and it was like the park was mine.

Spent the night and got 3 shots as the sun n came up over the valley.

Plan to stop along the road edge to look at the views. There are many great lunch picnic areas and campgrounds along the way.
Hiking is great and you will benefit from a pair of walking sticks. The right hiking shoes are crucial. A 360 camera is best to capture and absorb the amazing landscape. Otherwise a panoramic setting will serve you well here.

Bryce is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of hiking in and out of the canyon BUT if you truly want to experience all of the canyon from the top to the floor, you really should take a horseback ride.  Absolutely phenomenal. The views were amazing. I love to hike but we couldn't have experienced what we did on horses without hiking for days.

Amazing experience, gorgeous trails! Highly recommend to visit but maybe not during the summer or early fall months because it can be really really hot.
Also, highly recommend to start the day as early as possible if you want to get a parking spot at the visitors center. The spots get completely full after ~7.30am. The shuttle is very convenient, no reservations needed. Only need a reservation if you are trying to do Angels landing.

It is difficult to describe the natural beauty of Zion National Park in words or pictures. There are so many scenic points all over the park. Some of my favourites were Lower Emerald and Higher Emerald pool. There is almost a couple of hours of hike from the base camp. It is a big park to cover in one day but you can take the bus from the base camp to quickly visit most important scenic points around the park. I visited the park in June, it was around 80F. There was lots of water in the river passing through the park. You should enjoy the beautiful sounds of the running water :) I planned my trip by staying the night in St. George, UT which is one hour drive from the park. I left the hotel at 7:00 AM and reached the park around 8:00 AM via UT-9. It is good not to drive in the evening or night because you can cover scenic UT-9 in the morning. My next destination was Grand Canyon National Park, so I left the park around 3:00 PM so that I could reach Flagstaff, AZ before the night. Doing this, I covered UT-9 all during the day time. UT-9 is a very beautiful scenic drive which you should not miss. Do have the following with you,
- Sun block
- Sun glasses
- Stick for hiking
- Lots of water

One of the best national parks. The canyons are an amazing sight. The natural structure have mesmerizing shapes and contours.
Definitely must try. Narrows were great and will come back for Angel's Landing.

There's not much to do in Mariposa, but it's one hour drive from the magnificent Yosemite Valley and it's the closest town to the park's entrance El Portal.

Driving on the beautiful mountain route from Fresno to Sequoia National Park, you can literally see trees getting bigger and bigger on the way!

This stop is definitely one of my favourite. Driving in the desert is at the same time exciting and scarying. It really feels to be in the wild heart of America!

Coming from the peaceful silence of the desert, Vegas can be overwhelming. Still, it can't be missed because...what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

This part of Arizona is not only Grand Canyon! Enjoy the historic Route 66...if you can find it!

San Francisco is the perfect closure to this amazing trip. Even in summer the air is fresh and wandering around is pleasant after all those car journeys.

And in the end...Frisco!

Heading up north from Las Vegas, we enjoyed the mountains' fresh air and the incredible variety of sandstones, cliffs and "hoodos" of the terrific NPs of Bryce Canyon and Zion.

This is truly the treep of a lifetime. In just 2 weeks you can admire an incredible variety of natural wonders that make the most beautiful Hollywood pictures just a pale imitation. I don't think there's a more beautiful and varied itinerary than this!
