it is a very beautiful, but the place wasn't organized and prepared for tourist as it needs.

AlKarak Castle

It's a spectacular place, one of the Wonder of the World, and it's uniqueness cannot be doubted, it's simply breath-taking. I'm giving it one star though. The iconic view of The Treasury from the top is not accessible without local "guides". Not because the road is too complicated or too hard, but because locals are in the way and don't let you access it without them. I was truly disappointed by how the organization of this place looks like.

Great spot to visit. It’s a must and try to do it on Mondays, wed o thursdays so you can also visit at night (not included on your Jordan Pass).

Be aware of the hundreds of local guides that will offer your guided tours.

Truly one of the great wonders of the world. While not as impressive on the inside (Indiana Jones lied to me ;) ), The Treasury is an amazing sight to behold. When you first lay eyes on it as you exit the Petra Canyon, it will literally take your breath away. This is a must visit location if you are ever lucky enough to get the opportunity.

An amazing hike up 1000 steps to the monastery. Breathtaking views. Please try to start in the morning to be able to make it back before sunset. Especially during winters.

Worth climbing the 800+ steps to the top of this beautifully carved masterpiece that is a testament to the workmanship of the people to whom it was more than a temple. Careful for the donkeys on the way up and down...

It is a great place to suffer to reach "worthy"
However, the missing thing is the historic background labels that can be added their to tell the story behind this amazing structure.

Ad-Deir

Little Petra is cool and free to visit, but cannot compete with the real Petra sight. However you can hike from here to the monetary of Petra, which is an amazing way to start your visit to Petra! You do not need a guide if you plot the route on maps.me - but you need to bring your ticket!

Very worthwhile as a primer for Petra. Much less commercialism, no entrance admission, and yet wonderful tombs, structures and staircases to enjoy.

It's beautiful place, don't forget to go there after visiting Petra, it's small place but nice to see that.
