The Castellana Caves are an enchanting place, a breathtaking 3km stretch of walking among enormous stalactites and admiring an underground Grand Canyon in the southeastern Murge, 330 meters above sea level on a limestone plateau formed during the Upper Cretaceous period, approximately 90-100 million years ago.
