We had an excellent lunch with great service. They made lovely lunch with city-view. We requested multiple changes to the menu items, which was no problem.

We enjoyed coffee after the lunch.

Amazing spot in Aalborg. Nice foods, good for afternoon tea and cake with the best views in Aalborg.

I recommend going up the Rooftop before exploring the city, you'll easily make out your destinations from the bird's view!

Enjoy nice coffee with great syrup options like coconut syrup.

The staff is overly friendly and nice. The terrace of the Rooftop is also a great place to be. Enjoy the sunshine, but add a little sunscreen!

Salling Rooftop

This was a quick stop in the middle of other business. Only managed to see the monastery from the outside, but it was worth the stop. The detailed brickwork, over grown with ivy, is fascinating, giving me some new construction ideas for around the house. I really love the metal work on the large wooden door in the courtyard.

Impressive 15th century buildings with small garden. Nice for a quick visit.

Aalborg Kloster

Hotel centralissimo e comodo per poter visitare a piedi tutta la città.
Ha a disposizione degli ospiti un parcheggio privato a pagamento che conviene visto che le per strada è difficile trovare parcheggio gratuito.
Camere in stile cabine di una nave, piccoline ma comode, pulite e con tutti i comfort necessari. Ottimo per soggiorni brevi.

La storia vichinga passa per Aalborg. A pochi km dal centro città si può ancora ammirare questo cimitero vichingo!

Viking graveyard dating between 400-1000AD,  the museum is NOT to be missed!!! SO MUCH good information in there, all with English explanations, so easy imagine what life was like back in the times these people inhabited this area. I particularly liked displayed on the use of those flint mining, working it into tools and weapons and how that changed over time as new technologies and materials became available.

Very interesting place to visit. A unique place that includes nearly 700 graves, that span a period of 500 years. The cemetery was associated with a nearby Viking village, where the foundations have been marked out on the ground. The area is accessible without paying and there are boards explaining things. I suggest to visit also the museum, you pay for it, to better understand the site. There is also a small restaurant serving good food.

You will soon need a helicopter to get into the city of Aalborg, I don't think it is a good idea to remake Aalborg before an extra tunnel is made between Nørresundby and Aalborg and an extra bridge

Assolutamente imperdibile! La via acciottolata di Aalborg è un piccolo gioiello colorato che deve essere assolutamente vista!

Really charming little street. You can also explore the courtyard with some outdoor art

Going up to the Salling Rooftop, in the heart of Aalborg, will give you an incredible view of the city from above!

Aalborg Monastery

The hotel is very central and convenient for exploring the entire city on foot.
It offers private paid parking, which is convenient since free parking is difficult to find on the street.
Rooms are cabin-style, small but comfortable, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Excellent for short stays.

Viking history passes through Aalborg. Just a few kilometers from the city center, you can still admire this Viking cemetery!

Absolutely unmissable! Aalborg's cobbled street is a colorful little gem that absolutely must be seen!
