Una spiaggia tranquilla e poco affollata dove potersi rilassare! C'è anche un ristorante e un bar se si vuole mangiare qualcosa. Facile da raggiungere. 

This beach is absolutely fantastic for catching a breathtaking sunset. There are plenty of cozy little restaurants nearby where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy the view. While it might not be the best spot for snorkeling, it's perfect for taking a dip and unwinding in the water. Plus, you can visit the beach for free and it's always buzzing with visitors after sunset – it's like the ultimate after-party spot!

Nice and secluded beach. Big enough to not be crowded even at busy times. I can recommend snorkeling here. The restaurant nearby is also comfortable and is good value for money.

Small beach, lots of rocks, mainly for snorkeling but my children also liked to play there.
Water shoes needed!
There are 2 restaurants there in case you need a break and a drink.
I have a bit disappointed that a side of the beach was dirty and with a lot of broken glass…
Otherwise it is a beautiful spot !

Koh Tao: l'isola delle tartarughe

Sai Nuan Beach

Punto panoramico dell'isola meraviglioso! Si vede tutta Koh Tao. Per arrivarci bisogna camminare un po' e c'è una piccola salita, ma nulla di particolarmente faticoso. Ne vale davvero la pena!

When embarking on the climb, it's essential to ensure that you have the proper gear. This includes trekking shoes for climbing rocks and navigating slippery sand, shorts for ease of movement, and a jacket for protection from the sun. It's advisable to trek in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the intense heat that can affect your experience. Once at the top, you'll be rewarded with an amazing view and the opportunity to capture stunning photographs. If you happen to take a wrong route and end up at a remote beach, you may find it to be a pleasant and secluded surprise. Keep in mind that there is a 50 THB fee at the gate, but this allows access to Freedom Beach and the peak. Therefore, my recommendation is to make the climb and then relax at Freedom Beach.

Very beautiful viewpoint with a view of the whole island! The color of the water was especially beautiful in a combination with palm trees and rocks next to the beach. The entrance fee is 50 bhat but you also get the access to Freedom Beach (can also recommend that place). The hike up is not super challenging but also not just a walk up. Sometimes you need to climb rocks, so I would recommend going in sneakers not in flip flops. It can also be a little bit slippery because of the sandy path. The hike up took me around 15 minutes

50 Baht entry fee to get to the viewpoint, but the beach down below is also included.

The way up is a little bit challenging, it's not a real climb, but also no cakewalk. I recommend sneakers, but I saw people with flip flops up there. So consider that yourself.

The view is beautiful, it took me 7 minutes up and 5 down from the beginning of the steeper way. If you are a sporty type, easy going.

Un bellissimo tour che comprende tante tappe dei posti più belli di Koh Tao. Davvero consigliato, la guida era molto simpatica e il cibo buonissimo! Suggerisco di fare questa escursione da gennaio in poi, altrimenti si rischia che venga cancellata a causa del mare mosso. 




There is a beautiful little beach just next to Shark Bay. You can eat and drink something there. You don't have to pay anything here. Perfect for snorkeling. Good vibes.  We saw a turtle, a baby shark and lots of fish.

Snorkelling con le tartarughe e Koh Nang Yuan

Pro: 
- struttura bellissima e molto pulita
- colazione a letto portata dallo staff molto buona
- affitto motorini a 5euro al giorno
- struttura isolata, quindi completo silenzio e intimità (si dormiva benissimo)

Cons:
- posizione un po' scomoda perchè si trova su una collina, ma con il motorino ci si muove benissimo
- scarsa illuminazione notturna

Matina Mountain Resort @ Koh Tao

A quiet, uncrowded beach where you can relax! There's also a restaurant and bar if you want to grab a bite to eat. Easy to get to.

Koh Tao: the turtle island

Wonderful viewpoint on the island! You can see all of Koh Tao. Getting there requires a bit of a hike and a small climb, but nothing particularly strenuous. It's definitely worth it!

A wonderful tour that includes many stops at Koh Tao's most beautiful spots. Highly recommended; the guide was very friendly and the food was delicious! I recommend taking this excursion from January onwards, otherwise it risks being cancelled due to rough seas.



Snorkelling with Turtles and Koh Nang Yuan

Pros:
- Beautiful and very clean facility
- Very good breakfast in bed served by the staff
- Scooter rental for €5 per day
- Isolated facility, so complete silence and privacy (we slept very well)

Cons:
- Location a bit inconvenient because it's on a hill, but you can get around easily with a scooter
- Poor lighting at night
