Oak grove of Castellina

My family stayed here the first week of September and have nothing but good things to say. The rooms were clean, albeit a little basic. But that also gave the place its rustic charm. The grounds are beautiful! And we really enjoyed the wine! We took a cooking with Laura class and it was one of our favorite experiences in our 10-day Tuscany stay - which says a lot because Tuscany is such an amazing place. Would absolutely recommend this peaceful and beautiful agriturismo. Hosts were extremely friendly.

My husband and I stayed at Querceto di Castellina and it was an amazing experience! We love that the estate is truly a family affair. Every type of wine and wine label art has a story. We stayed in the Livia suite, which was beautiful and very spacious with a gorgeous view of the vineyard from the bedroom, living room and bathroom windows. The daily breakfast was delicious, they had many options like eggs, cheese, meats, fruit, yogurt, granola, pastries, juice, coffee, etc. We participated in the cooking class with Laura which was a highlight of our trip. We met her in town to shop at the local butcher shop and market before returning to the property for the cooking lesson. We got the opportunity to have our wine tasting with the lovely meal we prepared; it was wonderful to taste how the different wines paired with our food. We shipped home two cases of wine and everything arrived intact. I would definitely recommend staying at Querceto di Castellina!
