As we arrived in Dubai in the late evening, we decided to spend our first night in this nice hotel near the airport (cheaper) and organise our pick-up from here to the desert the day after.

Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel near Marina, it is at walking distance from the Marina walk and beach, but still more affordable than other solutions. Room was large and clean, and the staff very friendly. We didn't took the breakfast as we were always doing it at the near Starbucks in Marina.

Stella Di Mare

We first saw the phenomenal fountains and light show from the ground, and then it took us 60 seconds to get up and have the most "elevated" experience of our life! Admiring the skyline and the sunset from the world's tallest building, at 500+ meters above the ground, was just breathtaking. 

Great structure. Tallest building and amazing view. Aside from that you will have the chance to see the dancing fountain and grab a food inside the mall's food court. Everything in Dubai seems world record! Best fountain i have ever seen.. city of lights has so many things to offer you with variety of moods. But this place in all the weather makes u cool and relax with the special surroundings and nice theme packed musical shows😍

Definitely an attraction worth visiting in Dubai!
The tallest building in the world and a must visit attraction if you are in Dubai. A must visit venue when staying in Dubai. Impressive views from the top.
Just another big building attraction? Not exactly. It's simply colossal and is a must see if you're visiting Dubai. Price is decent and there's a bunch of interesting history about the creation of the tower.

Sunset at Burj Khalifa

This amazing show created by the Italian art director Franco Dragone definitely worth the ticket price! Spectacular stunts from word-class artists and an incredible water-filled stage.

Amazing show! Have never seen something similar! The effects were fantastic, you thought that the floor was moving, great lights, music and the water (I don't know where so much water came from! 😝) The acrobatics were fabulous, well done to everyone participating in the show! It also had many traditional UAE elements which I found lovely. We paid for the May offer and sat at the bronze area, view is still very good. Highly recommend it!

The show is nice, good job.
Even there's no changes in scenario, for 3 years I was here 3 times, it's same. Means, this show is good only for 1 time.

Excellent experience. I have watched shows in the UK and wasn't expecting this to be on par. They clearly spared no expense with the effects and sound. It was a really good show in a lovely theatre. Bravo to all the performers!!!

Showtime at La Perle 

We took a taxi boat from the marine station in the Creek to visit Deira, the old part of Dubai with the most beautiful souks: the Spice Souk, the Perfume Souk and the Golden Souk. We bought tons of Iranian Safran and other amazing stuff, but remember to always negotiate the price!!! 💰💰💰

Get a real feel for Dubai before all the High rise buildings and ex pats moved in. Loads of traders and shops, my friend,.my friend..never knew I had so many friends!! Just be polite and everybody is cool, its all part of the theatre. Take the ferry 1 dihram from Spice to Gold souk, great experience with locals.

We went there with the guide of our tour. He told as what the highest prices for each item would be. Thus was very helpful, because some traders tried to charge seven or eight times more.
Otherwise the market is pretty and a good opportunity to see an other side of Dubai than the glamourus rich side.

Lost in the Souk Market

We couldn't leave Dubai without a proper party night, could we? Our glamorous combo was a dining table at Coya (I love Peruvian cuisine), and an after-dinner table at Nammos. They were both located in the courtyard of the Four Season resort... For sure the most expensive night we had in Dubai 😀🤑✅ but also the funniest..


The Four Season is set on a wonderful location tucked away gem of Dubai. Just love this place and a must visit for all. My best place to buy a Rolex from in Dubai.

I always go for afternoon tea , they have nice carrot cake also red velvet in house lounge

My Favorite distention in dubai for a local holiday… Quite.. Clean.. huge.. very classy.. the beach and swimming pools are superb.. the service is very good… Highly recommended…

Glamorous Nightlife

The All'Al Marmoom Camel Race Track is definitely worth a visit, as Camel racing is free and is one of the most famous heritage sports here in the Emirates.
Unfortunately, we haven't been able to assist to one of these camel races, which normally take place in the early morning or during the weekends. Our local friends advised to go as you can see hundreds of Camels which are remote-controlled by 4x4 drivers on the side track.. 

Amazing place. I spent wonderful day here with my family, visited Village on days of occasion Dubai Crown Prince Camel Racing Festival. Great opportunity to see lot of camel races; organization was perfect, staff highly professional and kind, refreshment and seating area provided for the tourists and visitors. I must come here again. If you come in Dubai during winter period, you must visit this place

It was nice to see such place near the city, and they hold good events there.

Good place all facilities is available. Every one can learn about culture

Camel Racing

We did this walk almost every morning, grabbing a coffe and wearing sporty. It's an amazing combination of urban development with a coastal flair, and a cosmopolite atmosphere which I loved. 

I had a beautiful experience there with my family. The ideal time for me is the evening, as the lights gives a different visual all together. Loved it.   Roads well-constructed with good & safe parking lots which provide good Facility for visitors.
The quality of beach sand is very good. Extremely Clean and well maintained beach. One of the finest walkways in Middle East.

It's a very nice walk at one side the hotel towers or towers with apartments restaurants, bars and on the other side private boats, yachts and big yachts for Private parties etc ... at night it's a sea of lights everywhere. On the boulevard it's new that the offer every 500 meters the possibility for special photos like frames in different forms colours and stuff...

A great busy touristic place to walk to eat to explore and every thing.
The buildings are amazing
The shops are good
Street food and branded food and luxurious restaurants are altogether.
You might spend hours here if you are a walking fan like me!

Morning Marina Walk

Walked from the Marina to the Dubai Eye, which is located in the Bluewaters Island. In the morning the area was much less crowded that other spots of Dubai, but the best is to come here at sunset and have a drink in one of the nice bars around. 

No doubt Dubai has one of the best attractions in the world. The Dubai Eye whoever is new. Which might need a little improving in it’s system. We’ve been waiting well over an hour and a half, and before we ever got the chance to enter the shuttle we left due to the marvelously long queue. Our registered time has past. Which was at 5:00pm so we can see the sunset. The only way you can enter exactly at your time is when you book the premium version of the ticket, which indicates that although we paid extra for our sunset ticket, we can’t be sure if we can even ride at our assigned time! The bigger problem is when you apply for the premium ticket. You have to email them for it and then wait for their approval! They rarely even reply to phone calls. It’s just a total mess. Sadly these problems haven’t been resolved yet. Hopefully someone will do something about it very soon.

It’s an eye catcher really. It looks great day and night and mostly had lovely lights going on. The ride itself is also fun. We didn’t had to wait long even though we got the tickets there and not online. Going up you have a great view of Dubai Marina and blue waters. Going down you have a neat view of the palm. Time really flew by

Super view of gorgeous Dubai. The wait lines are well regulated and smooth. There was a lift access for elderly people and prams. The carriages are spacious and seating is very comfortable. Had a gala time clicking pictures and enjoying the beauty of Dubai.
Accessibility wise this is ideal for elderly people.

The gift shop is actually reasonably priced so you can pick a cute souvenir or two. And outside, its so bustling and lovely. Lots of pop up stalls for snacks and places to either sit or stroll. We had a very enjoyable outing and would heartily recommend it to everyone.

Bluewaters Island

Normally I rarely go to a mall at home let alone go to one while on vacation, but I must admit that The Dubai Mall is absolutely beautiful and definitely a setting that can humble just about anyone. Just walking through the mall was a workout in itself, but there was so much to see and take in that the experience was effortless. I purchased several clothing items that I believe cannot be found anywhere outside of the UAE. The movie theater was comfortable, clean, and not too crowded. The food court had a great selection of both fast food chains and independent restaurants which meant the world for someone like me who exclusively eats halal but is visiting from a place where there's very little halal restaurants around. Definitely visit the aquarium and waterfall. The prayer rooms were very spacious and honestly the best part of this mall for me. Also, it's location and close proximity to other attractions definitely made coming here very convenient.

I have visited the mall with small children and elderly people.

There are simply no places (or very rare and limited areas) to sit outside of stores, which is unacceptable considering the size of the mall and long walks you make. Let some of the leading furniture design brands compete with their products and installations. The mall is a prominent showroom for them anyway.

Additionally along the same line there is no drinking water available at corners. Make it easy and accessible to have water within a minute walk wherever you are. You could probably have some creative paintings on the floor to show you the way.

Did you consider to deploy much more green plants and colorful flowers into the mall that will make it a more friendly and relaxing environment.

You could allow street musicians into the mall at corners, it would make it so much more lively.

Having a mobile app with social features would be also great, for instance showing all the nationalities that are present at a time in the mall, allowing to connect with others in proximity of the mall and share the experience.

Navigation and exploration should be also improved, its still very hard to find specific places and you can easily loose your way. There are many ways how to improve on this.

I think the management of the mall is not looking for continuous improvement or not creative enough.

It's not enough to be the biggest, but you want to continuously strive to be the best that is currently missing from the vision and leadership.

Aside of this the mall is impressive in its league.

Dubai mall is like a second home for me. It’s my preferred mall in Dubai and now I have memorized many store locations, so it takes less time to move around.

The mall is replete with great eating options. There is something for everyone- kids, families, couples, vegetarians, meat lovers, coffee hunters… every shop in Dubai has a store here (pretty much). There is entertainment with fountains, waterfall and aquarium.

Just make sure to have time on your hands when you visit esp if you are not familiar with the mall layout and have an agenda on mind. It’s easy to get lost and find new things to explore 😊

Shopping at the Dubai Mall

Visiting the Burj al-Arab is not that easy, but we had a nice brunch with a friend at the Summersalt Beach Club, which is just in front. Eating there allowed us to walk on the private beach area and take nice close-up photos of this famous hotel.

Most probably my favourite beach club.

I love the atmosphere, the beach has view on the Burj Al Arab but also is wide enough to walk and swim, they have a private pool, you can also have lunch at the bar (where we had lunch) instead of the higher end restaurant if you are spending the day at the beach.

We had the dragon sushi and tacos which were delicious. The staff is super friendly and kind.

Beyond expectations, amazing food and vibes. Nice beach and good place to spend your day with family or friends

Fabulous location to chill and watch the sunset. Great beach club and vibe. Dinner menu is great and food delicious, particularly the crispy eggplant and lobster linguine. The staff is super attentive.
