Mdina Old City Fortress

We visited on a rainy January day which spoiled slightly our visit, albeit the added value was an almost tourist-free city and the chance to walk the narrow, attractive lanes among the very few visitors of the city. Great view from the city walls. Despite the weather, Mdina definitely stands out as an incredible historical location. I was just surprised to see a few cars parked around because our guide told us the city was car-free or maybe I misunderstood.

A very beautiful and cute town in Malta. GOT fans will identify it easily as some of the scenes of kings landing were shot here. It is the old town with narrow roads ,small restaurants, shops and churches. You can see some of the known doors of Malta here . Also you can see the panoramic view of the town from the bastion . You can also find a beautiful cathedral in the town. It is easily commutable from Valletta and St Paul's Bay by bus
