Il giro è molto semplice e in meno di un'ora si completa. Intorno al lago ci sono molti punti ristoro in cui fermarsi.

This beautiful green-coloured lake has stunning mountain views. You can park at the edge of the lake for €2/hour (€14/day). There are several shops and restaurants nearby and you can take a walk around the lake.

Wonderful lake and amazing view in every direction. The beauty of this place, just like many others in Dolomites, can't be captured by any photographs!!

Worth a quick stop, since there are lakes with more impressive landscape in the area, but we enjoyed our time there.

Gorgeous place, you cannot miss it.
If you like a walk take the path 120 (400m depth about 1h and 15m) otherwise the gondola.

Lovely little restaurant, with a fantastic view of the mountains from the terrace and a fantastic lake just across the road. You have the skying facilities also within walking distance. Beautiful place, if you're on the road, definitely stop for a drink and food

Rifugio Col De Varda

La merenda con yogurt di malga è imperdibile se arriverete fin qui su!

Starting from Rifugio Col de Varda take the path 120, it is about 200 (first down than up) and 1h walk.
You will enjoy another beautiful view of the dolomites: Marmolada, Cristallo and more.

The 2 stars are only for the location of this restaurant, which is absolutely stunning! The food was terrible, dull soups with terrible seasoning, the Holunder Schorle was the worst ever and the service was bitter, tired and lazy. Most of the other guests ordered coffee and cake, maybe they're better...

Very nice hut with good service and breakfast.

Rifugio Città Di Carpi

The tour is very simple and can be completed in less than an hour. There are many refreshment points around the lake where you can stop.
