Really cool and easy to use the funicolare. Takes you to the top and a 10 minute walk from Castel Sant'Elmo. Tickets can be purchased at a machine or a person. Very easy to use and it comes every 10 minutes.

Short ride with funicolare to Castel Sant' Elmo and belvedere San Martino with great views on Naples and Vesuv in background. Cost 1.10 € per direction

Nice station, easy to find the platform and where to buy a ticket.
The only negative aspect, as a tourist I was not able to see any sign in the street to be able to reach this station without my phone navigating me into it.

Grab some beers from the supermarket and maybe some ham too. Enjoy the sunset.

Absolutely stunning view across Napoli to Vesuvio! Take the funicolare centrale to Fuga for €1.20 then walk back down into the Quartiere Spagnoli, soaking up the atmosphere 👌

Nice garden, but views are better from the Castle Elmo.
