La guida è stata molto brava a spiegare tutto catturando l'interesse generale. Eravamo un piccolo gruppo, perciò è stato facile muoversi. Il ghetto ebraico è molto bello e ci sono tante curiosità da scoprire. La moschea-cattedrale è davvero affascinante e ci sono tantissimi dettagli che non vi immaginereste. Tour consigliatissimo!


This is a magnificent sight, huge inside and filled with the eponymous arches known throughout the Muslim world. It’s nice and cool to be inside, if a tad dark, but really enjoyable to walk around. The calligraphy reliefs at the end are easy to miss but a must-see. You can’t climb the bell tower. For kids, the courtyard, with its lovely large fountain, is a great place for children to play. No ticket needed for the courtyard.

Beautiful ancient structure. Definitely worth a visit! It was very unique that a church and a mosque blended together. We were there quite early and the crowd wasn’t that bad. Make sure to reserve your ticket online.

Beautiful beautiful Mosque - Cathedral. Everything is well conserved. The architecture is beautiful and everything is very detailed. Highly recommend going early to take it all in and to have beautiful pictures. Also recommend buying the double tickets to enter the mosque and bell tower to see the views of Seville from above

Da questo palazzo-fortezza i Re Cattolici governarono per un periodo di 8 anni.
Quest'edificio fu residenza reale cristiana, successivamente sede del Tribunale del Santo Uffizio, per divenire poi carcere civile e infine militare. Possiede magnifici giardini, come il Paseo de los Reyes, in cui si trovano le statue di tutti i re legati all'Alcázar. Dichiarato Monumento Storico nel 1931, integra la zona iscritta nell'elenco del Patrimonio Mondiale dall'UNESCO nel 1994. Sorge sui resti dell'antico Alcázar Califfale.

Beautiful gardens and an interesting palace. However, the gardens felt a little tired in mid- September, and in the palace itself there were too many visitors, particularly in the towers. This takes away some of the tranquility. Extremely good value though, at only €5.

The gardens are spectacular but the building itself is a bit of a let down. Only a couple of rooms open and and because we were in a severe heat warning they closed the ramparts, why I don not know a sign said this was by a Spanish Law, but was not the case elsewhere in Seville and Cordoba.
Just a bit of a let down to be honest.
Do buy your tickets in advance as the ticket office is very small and slow, there is even a queue when you have pre purchased on line just not as long.

There are mosaics and historical artefacts to see.  We went mainly for the gardens and they did not disappoint.   Definitely worth a visit for what is a reasonable price of €5 per adult and under 16s is free.

The guide was very good at explaining everything, capturing everyone's interest. We were a small group, so it was easy to navigate. The Jewish ghetto is very beautiful and there are so many curiosities to discover. The Mosque-Cathedral is truly fascinating and contains so many details you wouldn't expect. Highly recommended tour!


From this fortress-palace, the Catholic Monarchs ruled for a period of eight years.
This building was a Christian royal residence, later the seat of the Holy Office, then a civil and finally a military prison. It boasts magnificent gardens, such as the Paseo de los Reyes, which houses the statues of all the kings associated with the Alcázar. Declared a Historic Monument in 1931, it is part of the area inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994. It stands on the ruins of the ancient Caliphate Alcázar.
